What to pack for Umrah: a practical list

Pack light. You will walk a lot, and you will want room in your bag for Zamzam and gifts on the way back.

Passport, printed visa, hotel vouchers, return ticket, CNIC and two passport photos. Keep copies on your phone as well.

Two Ihram sets for men, so one can be washed. A belt with a pouch. Light cotton clothes for after Umrah and a shawl for air-conditioned halls.

Unscented soap and deodorant, a small medicine kit, a refillable water bottle, sandals that you have already worn in, and a foldable prayer mat.
